Your gift will help more DPT students attend the 2026 APTA National Conference

The Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program at Eastern Washington University prepares students for successful careers as physical therapy practitioners. Students gain practical experience while learning from our skilled faculty, participating in integrated clinical experiences beginning in their second year. Opportunities include orthopedics, pediatrics, acute care, and rehabilitation. But wait! There's more!

In addition to physical therapy skills, clinical science, and techniques for examination, evaluation, and diagnosis, students in the DPT Club  benefit from applied learning opportunities that provide hands-on experience. One of these is attendance at the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) conference, the largest and most dynamic professional development event for physical therapists, educators, researchers, students, and industry professionals. Each year, over 15,000 physical therapy professionals gather together to learn about cutting-edge research, innovative clinical practices, and networking opportunities. For EWU students in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program, this is an extraordinary professional opportunity to spend time with faculty, meet EWU alumni practicing in the profession, and make connections with potential future employers.

Registration, travel, lodging and meals are not covered as a part of student tuition. Your gift to the DPT Club will offset these expenses and help future Doctors of Physical Therapy gain the skills and professional expertise they will need to thrive in their future careers!
